Ambassador Dermer Explains Abraham Accords - A Wide Ranging Interview

Short biographies of Jordan B. Peterson & Ron Dermer

Jordan B. Peterson

J ordan B. Peterson (born 1962) is a Canadian clinical psychologist, author, and public commentator known for bringing personality psychology, moral philosophy, and mythological themes into a wide public arena. Trained in clinical psychology in Canada, he taught at Harvard University and later spent many years at the University of Toronto, where he is listed as professor emeritus.

Peterson rose to international prominence in the mid-2010s amid debates over compelled speech and Canadian policy on gender identity, controversies that both expanded his audience and made him a polarizing figure. His major books include Maps of Meaning (1999), 12 Rules for Life (2018), and Beyond Order (2021), alongside an extensive catalog of lectures, interviews, and long-form conversations distributed online.
